TO ALL MY LADIES IN THE PLACE WITH AN OILY FACE! Ok, so that was lame, haha, but if you are constantly trying to control your oil and keep your makeup FLAWLESS all day...this ones for YOU!
Firstly, I envy you over there...with your beautiful shine! But I get it... NO-ONE wants to have their makeup like a slip & slide by the end of the day!
I ALWAYS start with a fab matte primer and the BECCA Ever Matte Poreless primer does NOT disappoint.
A tiny bit goes a LONG way! You need a pea sized amount (or less!) and use only where it's needed...which is typically the t-zone (aka: middle of the forehead, nose/cheeks & chin).
Start with tapping (not rubbing!) into areas of concern...almost in a "blotting" motion with your finger until it feels dry. If you over-use this product, you will be able to see it on the face -- it will look like white film has built up.
Next, we're going to do something called the "sandwich method". Although not technically a snack, but I promise you'll be eating this up! (see what I did there?! ...also lame joke ha!)
After applying primer, spray on BEN NYE Final Seal in an 'x' motion across the face.
This is a matte 'sealant' spray, which is a bit different than your typical setting spray. This is literally applying a 'seal' over the face that is matte, water-resistant and sweat-resistant! You will spray again after you complete your makeup (foundations, powders, etc) and your makeup will be "sandwiched" between two budge-proof layers ….lasting ALL DAY. YESSSS GIRL!
We're almost to the finish line...
but the perfect long-wearing foundation is also key to a perfectly flawless base! Although the MAC WATERPROOF Foundation has "nourishing" in the description, don't let that deter you! I have used this product in my kit since the start of my business and I CANNOT live without! Not only is it beautiful on the face, waterproof and long-lasting, it dupes as a concealer...SAY WHAT?! Save yourself a step and use this product as a 2-in-1!
Lastly, set with a color or translucent powder, like the LAURA MERCIER Translucent Loose Setting Powder.
This powder is light, yet mattifies and gives a soft blur to the skin. Laura Mercier also carries a translucent medium deep translucent powder for deeper skin tones.
Finish with your bronzers & blush....and don't forget the final spritz of the Ben Nye Final Seal....and you're all set...literally!
